On 6th June, Leonard Engineering (Monaghan) Ltd became one of the first steel fabrication firms in the country to be certified to Execution Class 2 (EXC2) and it is with some pride we are pleased to announce that, as of 27st August 2014, we are certified up to Execution Class 4 (EXC 4) – the highest Execution Class possible. Having accomplished this, we have demonstrated that we are capable of fabricating all types of structural steelwork to a consistently high standard of workmanship and traceability.

As a quick reminder, since 1st July 2014, it has been a legal requirement for all fabricated structural steelwork delivered to site to be CE marked. Steelwork contractors must now have an Execution Class equal to or greater than that required for a project. The design engineer is responsible for specifying the Execution Class for the structure with EXC 2 being the lowest default value.

In addition to the upgrade to Execution Class 4 (EXC 4), we have achieved quality management ISO 9001 Certification.

With these certifications we are committing to delivering structural steel to the highest quality, demonstrating adherence to the strict statutory and regulatory requirements currently in place in our industry, and meeting the needs of our clients, their design engineers and other stakeholders.

Should you have any questions on the above certifications please do not hesitate to give us a call or send an email to info@leonardsteel.ie

We trust that you will keep us in mind for your future structural steelwork requirements.
